UA Committees & Councils

This area of the website site lists UA standing committees and their duties, composition, reporting channels and current membership. These include committees whose membership is recommended to the President by the Committee on University Committees and committees whose membership is appointed by the president, elected or composed by other means. To improve communication and coordination between and among units, the University has additionally created a number of administrative and/or coordinating councils. These councils play an important role in the execution and development of policy. Proposed changes to university standing committees must be reviewed and approved by the Faculty Senate and the Committee on University Committees.
