Resources and Priorities Committee

Duties

To give input to the administration for planning and setting priorities for budget allocations; to review long-range fiscal planning and priorities reflected in the University budget; and, specifically, to review the equity of existing budget allocations and priorities, and of the proposed budget allocations and priorities.

Composition

This committee shall consist of representatives from each of the academic divisions; two representatives from the Office for Student Affairs; two from the Office for Financial Affairs; two from the Office for Academic Affairs; and one from the Office of University Advancement.  The committee will also include a Faculty Senate representative, an Associate/Assistant Dean's Council representative, two undergraduate students, and one graduate student, including the President of the CCSO and the President of the SGA.  Serving as liaison members will be the Dean of the Graduate School and the Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Financial Affairs, Research, and Community Affairs.  Faculty will comprise the majority of the membership of this committee.  The Vice President for Community Affairs will serve as a liaison member and an Executive Committee will be appointed to formulate the work of the committee and to ensure the continuous involvement of the committee in University planning and priority setting.
