University Standing Committees and Task Forces

Duties

Address issues referred by the Professional, Office/Clerical/Technical, and Maintenance Personnel committees that are of common concern to all staff members.  Act as an information exchange to assure that the three staff committees keep abreast of the issues each is addressing.

Composition

The committee shall be composed of a Faculty Senate representative, and at least eight staff members, including two from each of the following personnel categories:  Professional; Office/Clerical/Technical; and Maintenance.  The chairpersons from the Professional Staff, Office/ Clerical/Technical, and Maintenance Personnel Committees shall serve as ex officio members.  In addition, a representative from the Office of the Vice President for Community Affairs and from the Department of Human Resources shall serve as liaison members.

Reporting Channel

Dr. Judy Bonner, Executive Vice President and Provost or Dr. Linda Gilbert, Vice President for Financial Affairs as is appropriate for each particular issue.
