University Standing Committees and Task Forces

Duties

Study and review issues and recommend policies concerning undergraduate programs and services such as, but not limited to, undergraduate teaching and learning, academic advising, undergraduate admissions and retention, scholarships, and financial aid. 

Composition

This committee shall consist of 14 faculty members, including the Faculty Senate Representative, who generally represent the distribution of undergraduate students across the divisions, six staff members, including the Professional Staff Assembly Representative, who are involved in positions related to undergraduate education, and six students, including a first-year transfer student and a graduate student.  Liaisons to the committee shall consist of:  an SGA representative and one representative each from the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Office for Academic Affairs, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Student Financial Aid, and the Office of Student Affairs.
