University Standing Committees and Task ForcesCommittee on Rhodes, Truman, Fulbright, and Marshall ScholarshipsDuties Identify, interview, and nominate individuals who qualify for faculty awards under the Fulbright-Hays program, and for student awards under Goldwater, Marshall, Rhodes, Fulbright and Truman scholarship programs. Recommend to the Provost/Academic Vice President improved methods of recruiting, advising, and nominating candidates for these and similar award programs. Composition The membership of this committee, recommended and chaired by the Dean of the Honors College, shall consist of no more than ten members broadly representative of the faculty, including a Faculty Senate representative. In addition, the following shall serve in an ex officio capacity: Coordinator and Special Advisor for the Truman, Rhodes, and Marshall Scholarships; Coordinator of International Studies and Programs; Director of University-Wide Honors Program; Faculty Representative to Truman Foundation; Faculty Representative to Rhodes & Marshall Foundation; Faculty Representative to Goldwater and Coordinator for USA Today All Americans; Representative from Student Affairs; and Coordinator on Elite Scholarships.
